Bart Hufen

Bart Hufen is gamification expert and author of A brand new playground, a book that describes how games are used in marketing.

Bart has worked in marketing for Atari and Diesel and was account director at Crossmarks – an advertising agency in the Netherlands. He is now working at BrandNewGame.

Apart from being ‘the Dutch applied games-guru’ his job could be described as ‘game consultant’ at BrandNewGame and he has worked for brands like ABN Amro, Air Cargo Netherlands, Holland Casino, Port of Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport, Unilever and Ziggo.
He studied Industrial Communication and Information Management and holds a Masters degree in Brand Management.

Bart regularly speaks about games as a tool to sell more products, to stimulate brand loyalty, for organisational change or for training purposes.
